For this diptych Jill and Chuck Dudley commissioned me to make a painting that celebrated their first summer at the beach in Montauk, NY with their adorable little girl Ruby and their sweet pup named Heidi.  It was truly a pleasure to do this piece for Jill & Chuck and their reference photos were perfect.

My dear cousin Rosanne Naglieri is getting married to Rob Rodgers in July of 2011.  They asked me to do a drawing of the day that he proposed to her in NYC.  The day after they spent their time walking around Central Park.  That was part of the inspiration of this piece.  I was honored to be asked to do this for the both of them. Congrats to the Happy Couple.

For this Commission Karen Halliday approached me after seeing my work three year’s ago at The Bakery in New Paltz to create a painting as a surprise Christmas present for her daughters Sophie and Claire. She requested that the girls be in a fall setting with their dog Willow and to also include their home in High Falls. It was so much fun working from the photos that Karen sent to put this piece together and to have their personalities shine.

This was an amazing piece to work on. My good friend Shelley approached me to make this painting for her partner Jen as a surprise for this past Christmas. She wanted to feature Jen and all of her gorgeous chickens and at the same time show each chicken’s personality. Since I am such a fan of chickens this was a perfect fit.
